Hi all thanks for comments. No I've never seen nor heard of a die-filer. Interesting. I've heard of Russ Collins with his triple-engined Honda I think, but I didn't know him. He's from USA and I'm in UK. However, I did correspond with Sonny Routt in USA back in the 60's. He ran one of the quickest double-engined Triumphs at that time along with Boris Murray.

Picture of my modified Hayabusa, still getting used to it. Totally different to the double-engined Triumph I ran back in the sixties. Only done a standing 1/4 in 10.37 seconds with 142 terminal speed so far. Still getting loads of wheelspin, will have to try some burn outs. However, I've done 196.6mph on it, on a Top Speed event at Elvington, 4 days before my 71st birthday last year. Cheers for now. Pete

Hey Pete, you must know Keith Parnell - are you trying to beat his record for the oldest person in the UK to go over 200mph on a motorcycle? I think he was 72. I've bumped into Keith several times at Woodbridge and his lad Lorcan, and I know Phil Steele who I think still owns Keith's 'Rouge et Noir 2'

Hi Pete I do know of Keith Parnell and we have communicated a couple of times on facebook but I've never actually met or spoken with him as yet. Yes it would be nice to do over 200 ! I know Phil Steel and met him at an NSA sprint at Kirkbride a few weeks ago at a wet and windy drag/sprint meeting there. I was third quickest in Europe back in 1968 over the 1/4 mile when I did the distance in 10.21 seconds with a best 1/4 mile terminal of 140.8mph on my double-engined Triumph Two Faced. Will post some pics and link to my Two Faced video next time. I used to be NSA secretary back in the 1980's and was first to introduce all the junior classes which have flourished since then. Cheers for now.

Two Faced double-engined Triumph and Locost kit car pics.
Hi again, just thought I'd post some pics of my double-engined Triumph Two Faced and a Locost kit car I made the alloy bodywork for, including the bonnet, which I curved around my oxy-bottle! It was about 8 years ago; I think he's updating it with a 5 speed Sierra gearbox currently. He bought the front nose section and mudguards which are fibreglass.

Did the slick have a point where it hooked up after spinning or was the take up smooth? I pity that pre-unit gearbox!Pete Williams
