have 2 masks and gloves auto dim i dont like it on the mig cant see a dam thing with it its not dar enough so i use my old reliable ..

right i had a bottle of disposal gas left over today so i sed ill use it up naffing around ..
job in hand mount my vice on a steal base .
shroud burned away prob rookie mistakes ..
but as time went on i think the welds started to improve getting setting right as i went along and realising not to hold shroud so close

i should have my co2 gas tommrow .
and regulator plus all the bits and pieces for the lance
new wire .6 shroud heads so i should be up and running tomorrow properly..

Welcome to the Forum, Ben.

It should do - most welders will fit a 5kg spool of wire - they're only about 8 inches in diameter.
Also, I see that the original poster bought just the same thing, back in post No 27, further up the page.

The 0.9kg spools seem a very expensive way to go, unless it's a small spool of gas-less wire, for occasional jobs where lugging gas cylinders is impactical, impossible - or you're just getting too old!
