lighter. Non conductive. Big wide steps. Usually have tool holder affairs on the top step.
Feel more stable too. Poss the flex in the Legs helps keep all of them planted on the floor.

you don't get electrocuted when you touch a live wire while your on them use aluminium ones and you can conduct the energy through your body get electrocuted or get thrown of the ladder
the werner ones are nice and solid to work off with big rungslittle giant ,,, expensive , but good .
ive seen two of us climb up one ladder , one each side to hang a 50 inch plasma when fitting out pubs , yep ive done that too.
the ladder we used was called Wacu , but those and little giant are kissing cousins.
I really dont like fibre glass ladders , they are for folk who are under 90k in my view , although the meet en 131 at over 110kg I seldom feel safe on them , let alone two of us and a tv , Zarges make great stuff too , in the ents game no one ever asks for steps they always ask for zarges , like vacum cleaner / hoover.

Thats a good tip Robin, was looking at replacement ali ones at twice the price

I have one 7 step.[I have 3 sets of different sizes
An Ali stair lader and a 2 step kitchen jobbie in the van. Covers most of my daily needs
Anything over that and the tower comes out
Too mesmerised by HTF you put that ceiling puzzle together to notice that - still looks great !

Was only wondering how it held up through the heat this summer today.
Finally used the redwood I bought for your facia today and put it in my mind
nope you certainly wont , but as I mentioned theres not many ladders id trust to do the job .
Have to makes a hard master.

ladder wise I use youngman professional. there isn't any better
