A lot of the slips are club or council run now Dan...i live on a peninsular with water on 3 sides but only 1 decent launching slip and that's only access onto the beach..cant use the slip without level2 and insurance for your permit..never has it been so hard to access the sea as the last 5 yearsNever had to be a member of the sea before to take a boat out
