My pad saw handle very quickly turns a snapped blade into a shorter snapped blade .. .
Tried all ways - I think the clamp screw moves too much - twists it. Had more luck holding them in a thick glove.I have found that those eclipse broken blade saws work better with the teeth reversed and used as a draw saw.

I am reminded of a lad at work, just out of his apprenticeship - handed me a hacksaw to use - blade in the wrong way round - he never knew there was a correct way - and different for junior hacksaws.
They do a lot better job of not skewering yourself if the blade breaks like thatI have found that those eclipse broken blade saws work better with the teeth reversed and used as a draw saw.

Well, assuming my dad was right Hacksaw cuts on the forward stroke, juniors on the back stroke, as I assumed pad saws do - never found a junior blade that lasted more than day, and I can't stop blades busting in my dads old pad saw handle. So maybe I'm not the one to listen toDidn't Know that about junior hacksaw blades.
