Hand held induction heater ?

I need to shut a load of rivets inside a barn conversion on a freshly installed staircase or two,want to minimise paint damage and avoid waving a torch around,so thought of a hand held heater like mechanics use,also if the heating coils are able to be bent 90 degrees,could be useful for handrail bends on site,does anyone have experience of these for less orthodox applications,@premmington @doubleboost maybe?
Sifting through the Chinese selections,there’s a Sparex branded one,although looks identical to a generic china job.

I bought a GYS version 12 months ago, seemed good value at £550 compared to Chinese tat. typically, since I’ve owned it I’ve only used it once, to undo a Snap On air ratchet of all things, but it did come with a variety of different coils, some like bootlaces that could just be wrapped around items.

I recently borrowed a Sealey 2kw one and it was a superb bit of kit. If I could justify the cost of buying one I definitely would.
It has all the controls in an enclosure and the actual heating wand on an umbilical.
Most of the cheap Chinese clones seem to be quite low-powered and reviews seem very hit-and-miss.

I have a Sykes Pickavant and make my own coils from strands of underground armoured cable (copper) and i buy rolls of the insulation that's in the back of electric cookers for the coils. you can make them any size and bend them any shape to suit the job, when i make them i have found they work better with no more than 5 coils on each one. shop bought on the right and my home made pair on the left.

I've only used the Mini-Ductor and they're good, but i'm told they have quite a low duty cycle.

It doesn't appear to be that involved to build a decent sized induction heater using an arc welder or microwave bits. Anyone here built a diy induction heater?
