I need to shut a load of rivets inside a barn conversion on a freshly installed staircase or two, want to minimise paint damage and avoid waving a torch around,so thought of a hand held heater like mechanics use, also if the heating coils are able to be bent 90 degrees, could be useful for handrail bends on site, does anyone have experience of these for less orthodox applications,@premmington @doubleboost maybe?
Sifting through the Chinese selections, there’s a Sparex branded one, although looks identical to a generic china job.
TIA.
