The price of gas certainly makes them more appealing
My previous employer trialled induction heaters with a view of getting rid of gas due to the insurance/liability cost, but although the induction heaters can be used for a lot of things, there are still those jobs which need gas.The price of gas certainly makes them more appealing

Couldn't live without mine working on bikes, studs, fasteners, etc.So true, cant imagine life without it. Still fancy an induction heater for things like manifold studs, less chance of frying other components in tight spaces.

True but there’s also lots of jobs that can’t justify long term bottle rental for just incaseMy previous employer trialled induction heaters with a view of getting rid of gas due to the insurance/liability cost, but although the induction heaters can be used for a lot of things, there are still those jobs which need gas.
