Argon for most laser welding applicationsI see it has a laser cleaning function as well which would be great.
I assume you use Nitrogen as the shielding gas for most things?

The 1MM to 1.6MM 304SS would be a perfect application for the laser welding machine. Providing their prep work and fit up is decentTom, I'm actually talking semi seriously to a few people about laser welding now...
Application 1: 1mm to 1.6mm 304ss for food industry - probably ideal. I've forwarded your brochures to them.
Application 2: we have a structural 304ss job coming up with a whole load of modular folded 2mm outside corner and fillet welds, currently planning to TIG weld them. What's the ins and outs of getting a 15614 weld procedure with a semi automatic laser weld system? I'm hesitant to bring it up with my boss unless i know the full story.
Not quite, it was to the forum owner. He was naughty and offensive to Mods.
