I,ve noticed that the indicator lights on a lot of vehicles are virtually invisible in certain daylight situations. How many pedestrians have stepped out in front of a car doing a left turn into a side road or similar.its not a bad thing. a few times ive been driving during the day and darkish cars have blended in with the background and i wouldnt have noticed had they not had there lights on at a quick glance
I was told by one of our Japanese engineers nearly 50 years ago when I had a go at H/L's being too bright that the problem was the "stylists" insisted on having trendy shaped headlights that made the control of the H/L's beam impossible without upping the wattage.
