Did some more work on the nozzle today. Some light clean up cuts on the exterior.

Then started the boring out. I put a 20mm MT3 drill right up to the end of the throat section. This meant basically burying it in the part.

I'm not going to do anymore with drills now, just going to get straight in with the boring bar.

The machine you refer to is a bandsaw. It's got coolant on it which is a big help at times. It's a SIP one but a pretty generic design.

What is the liquid you'll be using? Peroxide with a silver mesh screen?

Have you seen that push bike racing the Ferrari on YouTube? Worth a watch if not.

Peroxide with a silver mesh screen would be very good. Unfortunately it isn't easy to get hold of high strength peroxide. It would also invalidate any insurance I would have on my residential workshop if I stored it here.

My plan is to use nitrous oxide as the oxidiser. I'm also looking at the possibility of breaking it down into nitrogen and oxygen using a catalyst.
