I had mine set to shade 10 the other day for mig welding 0.8mm sheet. Anything less than that the arc was too bright and I couldn't see what I was doing.
The settings do seem to vary a lot between different helmets. Maybe battery charge has an influence too?
Hey - just have to wait for a new episode and I'm alive again In any case there was one the other night where Timmy gave Jimmy an orange parker with a hood, and he failed to be killed by random bullets, a big eagle or a space shuttle crash as he walked down the road.
Don't you think the eyetech is a bit more ET?
No idea on battery charge time - they've got solar panels and mine is kept by the window so doesn't go flat.
Hey bretherin, lets face it. You get what you pay for and there's never anything wrong with finding a cheap deal, all that matters is to be safe! Take your migrane pills... www.Airgas.com
Tried the new helmet today (ESAB 5-13 EYETECH) what a difference compared to my old auto helmet, good to know that it was not my eyesight failing after all
All I have to do now is find the answer for painful knees . shoulders and fingers.
