take the hub off, and take it round a few breakers to try in place.. Ideally old skool ones if there are any still around you. might be easier that trying to guess on the internet...

Are they A50 wheels? A bit of Google image sleuthing suggests they look similar, and were 15" before 1956.

5x5" according to this elderly post in another Forum many of us share. Seems quite likely as they would have been available for next to nothing throughout the 60's and well into the 70's.

also:
Rover P5 (as many have said)
Vauxhall Velox/Cresta etc

or for added style points Jensen Interceptor.

And NOT Jaguar - they are 5*4 3/4". My old Alvis TA21 didn't take my Jaguar spare, so it may have been 5x5" too.

My guess is London taxi, maybe an Austin fx3 or fx 4????

FX3 taxi wheels seem to be 6 stud and although FX4's are 5 stud they are 16" wheels !

Looks like the wheels off the rolla-long mobile site office axle there on 5 stud 15 inch wheels. I did some work on one a couple years ago, If your lucky and desperate we may have one kicking around the place, as I am sure we had to get a spare for the job and we pickup a couple. I could have a look tomorrow if I remember.

Hi Andrew I am sorry to have to say after all the searching today I didn't find a 15 inch wheel. I found almost every other old one. Found a couple 16"that came off an old Rice horse trailer



and what looks like a fergie rim with a radial road tyre on it,



I though I had it with that one as the rollalong rim had a radial on it. All the time I was searching I had a distinct Deja vu feeling I reckon Ive looked for it before for someone on here before, maybe not, just got that feeling

Andrew there is a 15" jag wheel for a tenner on the auction site it might be worth sending your PCD to the seller

The tyre has cracks in the side wall the rim has surface rust present.

Meredith and Eyre (the hub makers) are back from their week long factory shut down on Monday, so I’ll see what they can suggest.

Well a bit of progress, Meredith & Eyre were very nice and helpful but sadly lacking any information what so ever !

However it turns out that Humber Hawk wheels seem to be the same specification, so the hunt is on for some steel Humber Hawk rims (or wheels complete with tyres)
