Help please identifying this Solid Bar

So being as I have quite a lot of it I've taken a picture of another piece that isn't turned.
O/D is 38mm. Length is 200mm and its weight is 2.30kg (5.10lb) (2300grams) (81.5oz) according to my digital scales as I don't have anything else to measure the weight with.
It doesn't file easily on the end but quickly cleaned to a bright bit on the side
According to my Metex Testlab multimeter on the 200 ohms setting with the probes on a cleaned spot on each end is 00.3 ohms.
I tried a rare earth magnet being very strong and still nothing felt whatsoever.
Turns out the Builder guy who purchased the building as a brother who worked there not so long ago so I will ask him if he knows or can put me in touch with one of the guys who was still there when it shut.
I gave this bar a bit of a rub with light scotch bright before taking the picture.
I also came away with lots of stainless, Titanium 6al4v. Silver steel. En1, en8, en19, en24, and alloy solid bars Plenty to play with on the lathe.

My maths come to 10g/cm3, so hopefully it's not DU!

There you go looked it up 19.2g/cm3

Used.for radiography equipment shielding, ballast on aircraft and boats, short half life so not particularly harmful if not exposed for a long period of time.

You've got that back to front; DU has a very long half-life which is why it's safe to be around, it's not very radioactive. The half-life/radioactivity relationship is inverse. Quite toxic though.

The mystery metal is 10.14 tonnes per cubic metre by my calculations, so it's not DU.

ETA Molybdenum is 10.188 t/m3 so that's a likely candidate.

Whilst searching through some of the other bits I have found a piece of the same with bdenum written on it. The first few letters have been cut off so I'll go with Molybdenum.
All the other bits show traces of black marker but none are clear enough to make out.
There are codes stamped in some of the stainless bars so I may be able to identify them online and some have thin coloured tape round them. I'm told that colour coding can vary
between suppliers so I shouldn't take those for granted.
Others have paper labels taped on but are worn away.
I've been a welder/fabricator for many years so only dealt with the usual materials in that trade.
I have a guy who lives across from me who's now retired but he was a shop floor manager in the Blade department at rolls royce and he's said that the MSRR 7035 (not M3RR as I previous put) is a special grade stainless
able to withstand being heated to high temp and cooled many times without fracturing or failure. There are quite a few different codes amongst those I have and is a development of RR. They are mostly solid bars with some being hollow bar.
Most are around 75mm O/D. With a few at 100mm.
Lots of Aluminium bar ends about 200mm long of various diameters.
Lots of Nylons of various types. also Acetal, HDPE, Delrin, PVC PTFE and quite a bit of Tufnol Bars.
Plenty to play with on the lathe.

And somehow I wouldn't of thought a small time Engineering business in Earby would be dealing with Depleted uranium so I wasn't worried about that but I did handle it with gloves on because of the oxidising especially after I faced an end in the lathe and it went back to the same colour as the rest of it after a period of time.
I must confess I did not in the beginning though lol.

Yeah! Poor bloke. Pretty awful really.

I only filed a little bit off the corner and one scrape on the flat.

Not sure if I'll ever do anything with it really though. Probably useless to me.
