@sako243 That all sounds horrendous!
The Hilux one is pretty straightforward to remove at least, 10 bolts that you can get an impact on dead easy (2 × sets of 4 to undo the UJ flanges + 2 to disconnect the bearing).
According to the manual the disassembly process requires you to first remove a deformable locking nut, then press the UJ flange off it's spline, then press the bearing off... Then "reassembly is the reverse of removal".
I'm not 100% sure how I am going to press something as long as a prop shaft though, so hopefully the fit isn't stupidly tight and a good puller will do the job in situ...
Making it a 6 bolts and don't drop the very large unsupported metal bar on your face job to get at.
But... Guess who forgot to actually put the deformable locknut that's destroyed during removal process in his cart when ordering the parts on Sunday?
