Soak in dish washer tablet and brillo pads for me, but i'm never after a show finish ...all that polishing

I've used sanding pads with wd40 (ac90) as a lubricant. ...turns the pad black...and then more wd40 to "rinse" residues....wipe clean....leaves the surface relatively shiny without attacking the finish
