The tank is a 90L vertical and measures 48 in high and 42in Circumference. I took pictures today and then and went to delete them from my camera! I will retake them tomorrow.
I actually have the compressor unit that goes with it. It is in a cabinet so can be separate from the tank. At the moment it is in bits as it was really messy when I got it. It is all ready to go back together but I have no where to put it. It was fully working when I bought it! being in bits allows me to store it in one of my sheds.

Tell him you want a complete replacement as per your rights as there may be more damage than you think would be my advice.

The pump would cost nearly 2k to replace if you were buying a new one so I don’t think anyones insurance (courier or seller) would give you that considering the pump only cost Me £100, I’ve tested the pump and it’s running fine, the damage is only to the fan cover, I have priced genuine filter units and they’re £24 each and the fan cover is £30, I can get non genuine filters for about £4 and I want the fan cover replaced although I’ve glued the old one up for just now, the seller has refunded Me the P+P...

It was never used, the guy bought a job lot of bits and pieces and didn’t know what it was, it was advertised as a vacuum pump, quite a good bargain at £100...

Hopefully I’ll get a new fan cover and filters out of the guy or courier, I’ve told him I want the item to be in the same condition as it was advertised, after I bought the item I asked him to unscrew the filters as they were vulnerable but he said it was too late as it had already been dispatched, it was in its original box and packaging but couriers don’t give a damn....

Recently there has been a glut of old compressors coming up for sale, car boots, free adds, junk shops and in 1 case in town recycling centre(Taunton).
I have seen big, small petrol and electric.

Don't know why so many have appeared. But if the OP looks round he may fins something on E Bay, Gum Tree etc.

Eventually finished this project off, runs well, nice and quiet, just need some airline fitting and ready to rock and roll, the guy sent me new filters he found and gave me £25 back for the damage to fan cover, the hot glue gun sorted the fan cover...
