Is it me,on the 1st vid,why not put the wheelbarrow under where the split logs fall
what kind is it?I've said it before - a few years back I bought a "handy" brand 6 or 7 ton splitter from the local farmers/garden merchants. Cost ~£200. It's plenty for all be the gnarliest of oak hearts. Couldn't build one for it, even if I had all the components really!
I worked in a machine shop years ago that had their shaper running back to front: it shot forward at high speed, and returned slowly. A quick glance inside the side cover showed why.do you know that a shaper can do the same thing just be alot smaller
yes you can stop it by pulling up the lever all depends on its design as soem are design to disenguage if handle inst held downOne problem with the kinetic splitters is that once its released you cant stop it.
Hydraulics - yes they give you better control, but having seen the eastern european creations above - especially that blue one, you have to ask why make a wet one?
I quite liked the first one in the first video.if you want dangerous i will oblige
if you want dangerous i will oblige
if you think the screw wood splitter is safe forget it
ive seen the screw fail to split the wood and many times the machine must be turned off
