I agree. A more odious, self-serving, back-stabbing and thoroughly unpleasant creature would be hard to find - even among the bottom-feeders that are the "political class".
It always baffles me how these types get into and remain in high office.
I guess the phrase "the people get the Representation they deserve" is ever more apt.

I know the price of these wee bikes is strong. Better than putting or keeping the money in the bank though? You buy, use and sell. Maybe at no loss or a profit? Who knows mind you, as classic prices have fallen before. It doesn't suit the bargain hunter in most of us I suppose.

It's a matter of opinion, and that's mine.
Every time I see Sturgeon, she's playing hard on buttering-up and playing to the Scots sense of personal pride in bring Scottish, making herself out to be the one looking out for them, while everything about her (past and present) screams that she'd flog any agenda at any price to Scotland (or anywhere come to that) to serve her own self-interest.
I'm baffled that even the dimmest person, let alone a significant portion of a Nation, cannot see through her.
I'm at best ambivalent towards any politician, but everything about Sturgeon boils my p**s. I'd not share any space with her or anyone like her - cant stand the odious shouty parasite.
I don't see that as mean - I see it as accurate tbh - Sturgeon is a creature I'd not trust to have a single honest, decent cell in her entire being.
I can't dissagree with you about the stugeon woman, she's a proven liar, who should have been got rid of a long while ago. But I like to think it's the system that keeps here where she is, and our media is daft enough to give her the air time she doesn't deserve.(because it suits their agenda).You think?

I owned an xl125 way back in 1983 a fine little machine, but lacked the character of the 465 yz I also had at the same time, oh what fun that could have been with a number plate on the back!

Not done anything to the XL for months, had a push to get it done over past day or two. made new brackets for the new replacement seat and welded them to the paper thin replacement seatpan and then reattached the cover (brackets were way off, seat sat 10mm off the frame)
Trued up both new aftermarket wheels
Fitted an undamaged lh switchgear.
Fitted rechromed stanchions to forks.
Resprayed lots of odds and ends.
Just need to find the new sprocket retaining studs and should be done (Well as far as I am going to do to it!)

I rode bikes for almost 20 years, and owned everything from Supersports to muscle bikes. But I still enjoyed small 125's. The only explanation I can give is that the low speed made me enjoy the ride rather than the bike, and less stress and worrying about my speed.

Having ridden for 60+ years both on and off road for fun and work I always got more fun extracting the last bit of enjoyment from smaller bikes than just hanging on to bigger ones and only getting 75% out of them. Just a wimp i suppose. Also sad at moment as I sold my last bike on Saturday so end of an era..

This thread has reminded me that I have a Suzuki SP370 lying dormant
in the cellar. I bought it around 1984 and had loads of fun with it, even
though it was never really highly regarded by the biking fraternity.
Think I'll go and give her a visit later ....
