Honeywell Evo Home, help desperately needed. anyone got one?

There's a towel rad upstairs for that I'm told.
The kitchen rad has a smart TRV on it.

The kitchen rad is always hot so maybe that's connected somhow but I couldn't get it to react with the controller.
I didn't go that deep into the menus so haven't done a RF check so that will be next if I get a chance, I'm leaving them to grieve now as they have a few electric heaters and a log burner so should be warm enough.

We have an evo home in our offices and it's played up a bit which means we've had to learn.
The smart valves fail open, just like a standard thermostatic head. So to me the kitchen one sounds like either it's broken, or the batteries are dead.
The others sound like they're not communicating... Now I'm a bit hazy on this one but I think you have to unpair and repair the valves... Maybe not. Definitely you do have to do that with the boiler remote switch, we've done it a few times after a power cut. But can't remember about the valves.
We've had them all fail at once due to flat batteries and the office has been like a sauna and all we did was replace the batteries.
