i recently did a full colour change on a corsa from blue to black had 2 litres of paint did all the door shuts hatchback in and out under the bonnet you name and still had enough left to re paint the door after someone damaged it breaking in.
if i were the original poster i wouldnt use base and clear unless he is using metalic
1 you need more materials (more expense)
2 if the full car is to be painted it has no advantage it doenst have to mach the exisiting paintwork
3 the original paint would have been a solid colour in cellulose

4 by now he's probably wishing he never asked the question
