What sort of ring? This thread is about banded wheels, not gas cylinders.

as it doesnt need to be highly accurtate id just bend that around the bottle it was intended for.

This is the ring roller l made,l use it for rolling half rings to make hawk perches.

that look great beetlejac. question though, isnt there any adjustment on the middle roller? you know, up and down? looks very good. may make one similar myself

Hi yeah its the two bottom ones that move up and down,you can see the wee bottle jack in the middle.

Another way to produce rings is to find or buy a length of pipe the same diameter as the required ring. Weld one end of your bar onto the pipe next heat up the bar to a red heat and wrap it round the pipe "like your making a spring" but keep the coils tight. Then with a grinder cut down the length of your spring, you'll be left with a number of rings that you can clamp in your vice to straighten up and weld to complete the ring.
