I have been cleaning up more of the jack this morning and have found some stampings. Also the original colour looks to be a dark maroon followed by a grey, blue, yellow then green lol.
The stampings read as follows
CON 6 / ST / 20434 / CB 21 B
Then on the other side
REF 40 1349
Maybe it’s a contract number or catalogue number ?
