What numbers did the one under the heatsink have on it, just out of curiosity?
Let me know what happens when you fit the board, if it's still not working try the above measurements and I'll be able to work it out.

Good afternoon people, quick update all is well and the comp starts and stops as it should. Not used it yet but left to run up. Help preasure opened tap slightly and when preasure went down ran back up again automatically. All back together . Service next so need parts for that then back to work lol.

Thanks! So it was a 7824 after all, good to know. Hopefully the diagram will come in useful for others as well that might come across this topic
