its part of the reason why i suggested that type plenty of features

outside of helmet is your 4 settings and a grinding mode that switches to it, the switch inside you switch for lower grade settings

the battery is very easy to replace i just put a duracel battery when it failed to respond one day also ive welded jut by using the low grinder mode but not for long had no ill effects while welding this way

looks to be the same as the one I have(with a different picture on the outside), I've used it for tig welding at 15 amps with a cheater lens and set at 7 shade. the sensitivity setting took a couple of attempts to get right though, but thats just fine tuning.

mine also go LED's added around the lens so I can see what Im doing while I'm getting ready to weld

I like that idea but not too keen on drilling into the helmet. There are plenty of LED options now so will look into what I can do

This was my solution to welding inside the shed, a torch attached with velcro for easy removal when not needed

quite tempted to copy that idea

I haven't found that, but you need to remember the extra height if going through a door.....

it does the job just fine mate the adjustment is fine I don't use mine that much once a week if that I also use a few others
