Impact Gun Oiling?

I bought this little PCL 3/8” impact gun.
The instructions say oil daily.
It will see very low usage. Remove the odd wheel, undo the central Honda lawnmower blade bolt ( the real reason for purchase as it saves a ton of work clamping the flywheel .. removing the magneto and resetting etc.)
Q. How much oil?
Just for convenience of dispensing from a 1L bottle, I have a very small syringe graduated in 0.1 ml. (0.1 to 1.0ml.)
Would 0.1ml be the right amount?

I doubt it would matter too much, other than too much would come misting out of the lower vent.
Q. I am assuming it means undo the hose and squirt it up the air input?

I dont have much air stuff now but that which I do have I still oil daily. I just put a few drops down the tail then put the airline on. Seems to work fine. If I think I have over done it I just flick the excess out before the airline goes on.

If you put too much in it'll just blow it out of the exhaust anyway

yep as said a few drops down the pipe every time before u use it will suffice. did it not come with a wee dropper bottle

as above, wouldn't over think it, any excess just gets blown through the tool anyway..... but a few drops is plenty, no need to measure....

No came with a I L bottle of pcls air tool oil

i just pinched one of the wife's squeeze bottles out of the kitchen, think it was for sauces or such like. ideal... I use air tools a lot, so this is much better than the daft little oiler bottle that came with the bottle of oil..

that works. I never likes those misters they stick out a bit and never seem to go down plus i like the ritual of 2-3 drops every time i use the tool

I have a dedicated air line for air tools with a lubricator and I keep separate hoses. But if you're not using it much a squirt of oil down the inlet will be fine

ha ha i dont use mine much I have 10 or more of those little bottles knocking about with air line oil in them some still dont have the tip cut off

I use it for quite a lot of things, like i said, I use air a lot, so the bottle is always around, the 3in1 oil I can never find, the air line oil is really thin, does the same job...

I just put a couple of glugs (technical term) of 3 in 1 in mine and it's survived for years on it.

I have a nice little plastic bottle with an oiler nipple that came with a Paslode service kit..my air tools get 3 drops the size of a grain of rice before use and ime always happy to see a bit of oil out the exhaust.

yep better off oiling when finished as there will be moisture in the air condense and the bearings will go rusty if left stood

Some of my air tools are over 20 years old - few drops down before use. Some get irregular use. Some get very irregular use. All seem to work fine each time. I'd be worried oil I put down after use would simply leave a thick gunk inside, whereas use spread the oil put in before use in a nice thin film all over
