Lubricating an air wrench before using it when undoing a very tight fitting can make a difference as to it coming undone or not

1st fix then i have the newer one IM360IM350 90CT impulse, well used, but still fires nails in better than I do......I have two, so will keep one, but the other can go...

heads are too big on these for the second fix I would be using them for!
ha ha i use mine for all kinds of fixing at home!
that's just being fussy.....
. if it stays up, job done.... a, 1" #8 screw or a 4" nail same result...............

Don't overthink it - Just a few drops in the line every time you use it will be absolutely fine, especially for light use.
I use the little bottle that came with one of those sealey lubricators. Think the lubricator got tossed yonks ago but the bottle is handy.

One thing to beware of, don’t think ahhh WD40, that’l do it! I did on my Metabo rattle gun, next time I went to use it the rubber seals had dissolved.I just use a dew drops of thin oil, 3in1 or similar & give it a 1 second wizz to disperse it before putting it awa to stop it going rusty.

As the female on the gun is rough, it minces ptfe tape, it means an annoying clean out evey lube.
can I put the oil in the end of the 600mm whip hose?
and I assume that won’t get past the female QR coupling and eventually up the main 10 mm hose ? (defo do not want that, as its used for spraying paint too).

never used an oiler in 50 years on all my air tools. there a waste of time unless getting used day in and day out . just 3 drops of oil before use and a bit after

Shouldnt do as you’ve positive pressure in the line but best practice is to have a dedicated spray line.
I don’t and oil my tools as above and paint things too and no problem so far. I do not do pro painting but still no oil in the paint
Yes a squirt in the whip hose will be fine. If you pull the trigger as soon as you reconnect the oil should go straight into the gun.
