Cheers - looks like J2 and J3 by the fixing screw are in a likely spot, and as they're jumpered it's probably already linked for 4-wire, so can discount that...
Thanks. A bit more info if it means anything at all. With the load cell unplugged I switch the unit on. It says check then goes to zero. Display unit then emits a long beep roughly every 6 secinds. The display alternates between "2Ero" aka zero and a display in kilos. This can vary; might. Read zero, 550.6kg, zero, 550.6kg, zero and so on. Next time you switch it on it might read zero, 1931kg, zero, 1931kg and so on.
Continuity good from the plug to PCB header.
