One of the small ends was shot on my compressor. Bored it and pressed in a new bush.

Useful info (not that I fully understand it all). I think it suggests that a 234 with 1ph motor should be about 10cfm?

I think the seller says it cuts off at 145psi (that's 10-Bar, yes?).

Yes, 145psi is 10bar (well close enough).

I just bought it.
Looks clean, no leaks, no discernible (to me anyway) knocks or bangs. It's from 1972 and runs amazingly quiet (when I'm used to a wee Clarke direct drive roar).
Ran up to 150psi and cut out, all good.
Owner had it for 30-years (says its barely been used in the last 10), and ge had it from his father-in-law before that.
Originally it had a 3-ph motor, and the guy that sold it to me had sourced the 4-pole, 2hp 1ph 1350rpm motor and fitted it when it the compressor came into is hands.
I need to do the maths to confirm the volume of the tank, and to work out the compressor pump rpms (Sounds quite slow to my ears but I'm unfamiliar with these compressors) and I realise the OE 3ph motor might have been larger... so I'll work it out.
I'll time how long from empty to full as well when I get it home.

So far though a happy camper.
All original paint (scratched and whatnot but fine), and Reciever appears rock solid.
