I ordered by phone. Maybe people are off on holiday so there is a delay in responding to emails.
Looks like a fair job there, I flat & polish mine after 2-3 days, It depends on if it was baked or not, with current temps it would be pretty hard the next day, other opinions will vary.
Thanks Langy. Yep, just drying naturally, just thought it would be easier starting to cut back with 1200 paper wet, while it's still a bit soft.
I must say that it is the first time using 2 pack and I won't ever use cellulose again. 2 pack it is a superior product, so I take this opportunity in thanking you for your useful and helpful advice and prompting me to take the plunge with it.
Thank you.
Your best bet would be to isolate the old paint with epoxy primer then you can use your cellulose over that. The epoxy will seal better than 2k primer and as a bonus does not contain isocyanates.
This epoxy primer is what I use.

You will have to ask them to also sell you the epoxy thinners though as they haven't got round to listing it on the website. You would get away without the thinners though if you have a 1.8 tip gun.
Maybe they are just covering themselves and are not sure so better to err on the safe side.
I've checked all the MSDS and TDS for all the epoxy primers and associated hardeners that are commonly available and none of them contained isocyanates. That said, the specific MSDS for the 732 hardener is not on the HB Body website so I have emailed HB Body UK to confirm it does not contain isocyanates.
The tins of 989 and 732 that I have does not say anything on it about isocyanates either.
