If you do a lot of greasing one of them sets with various adapters in is a handy thing to have.
Mild steel is useless unless the arbor's about to fall out. they need to be hardened and a very close fit. Also they should be used in pairs so that you have a parallel separating force.View attachment 287955View attachment 287956

Yep it will Ave has a couple of videos about it.Me too. Doesn't really make a difference if you're taking off a knackered arbor but if you want to reuse it, you're less likely to bend it with an opposed pair of wedges.
Will a grease gun really provide more force than a sharp hammer strike?
