JCB brakes (lack of)
Had a go at these, floors up and the pedal assembly removed ( seized etc). tried to get the fulcrum pins out (pictured) but they would not comply. so used the carver clamp to coax them, the near side one needed 3 goes with Oxy Propane before it submitted. I then used the studding and nut method (pictured) to jack the pins out. I managed to remove the off side actuator to find it completely seized. I managed to free it after an age then called it a day. (This procedure was over three days in a field) The pedals were freed off, the cross brake shaft was welded up and machined back to size and new oilite bushes fitted on either end. Simply Bearings supplied the bushes (cheap as chips). More to come.
