Just Bought my First Welder

That looks to be #2 gauge wire or 33cm sq.

Should be be able to get a lug at an electrical supply. I have used a piece of 1/4" copper tubing with half flattened and drill a hole. Then crimp in vice.

I think I've got it now

The sizes (16,25,35, etc....) refer to the cables cross sectional area

so, a 16mm2 cable has a diameter of 4.51mm
25mm2 = 5.64mm
35mm2 = 6.68mm

So, given the above, I need a 35mm2 lug

I don't think my maths is incorrect

But there is a item on ebay which says 25mm2 has a cable entry of approximately 6.8mm diameter

and that 35mm2 has cable of 8.3mm

How does that work?

Both are a similar price
