its amazing how quickly you can go through a bag of spuds
Something like an 'access plug' usually pal. Here they are on Toolstation: http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Plu...t+Weld/sd2885/Solvent+Weld+Access+Plug/p35872So what are those end pieces for the plastic pipe called?
I went in a plumbers place and asked if I could have some end caps, they denied all knowledge of them!
So I wrapped a bit of scrap bar with amalgamating tape and stuffed it in the tube. I have my A15 rods in front of me the tube is ~38.84 ID[43mm od]
and the bit of bar is 1.5" with some tape on it. It's worked OK till now, so I suppose there's not a lot of point replacing it. The SIF cardboard tubes
are fine but the steel rods have always gone through the end caps, maybe they employ a bouncer at SIF to bang the tubes and **** the endcap.
As long as you can glue it in a coupler (no reason why you couldn't) then that will work nicely as well. Push fit is probably no use though as the rods exert enough force to pop a push fit off when you rattle them.
