Where did you find that CRB? I just had a look at both of Roy Bacon's Kawasaki books and it aint there.I had never even heard of these. A 750/4 watercooled stroker. A Japanese Squariel.

Thank you CRB, I am not convinced that the two engines are the same, the studio bike looks to have much less offset between the two sets of cylinders. Lets not forget the mad multi cylinder bikes the Yanks like to build by grafting two or more triples together if you want mad Kwackers.https://www.flickr.com/photos/teamheronsuzuki/sets/72157625769619760/ If you cannot get in, shout up.

It was near this beauty. http://www.bike70.com/GG75.html
I must find a 'slobbering' emoticon.
...and as for Lord Lucan...my lips are sealed.
I am looking for LTs in paddocks and keep finding bikes, dangnabbit.
A very big heavy bike, much respect to Eddie.View attachment 66794
Ed Lawson (my favourite bike racer from my favourite era of bike racing), getting a bit squirrely on a big green "Z". Awesome

Hate to disagree but I personally love some of the kwacks. IMO the c1h zx6 2003/4 was anything but uneventful for a 600. It was IMO more of a wild card than the R6, gsxr600 and cbr 600rr of the same year.If there was one bike ive had and outright despised, it was a kwak zx6r ninja , and to be honest having had a crack on mates ninjas of various flavours, I hate the lot! Anything pre 2000 was like riding a blancmange, anything afterwards with the exception of the zx10 was just completely uneventful to ride

When the ZX1100A2 was in for a major engine re build (around 1988 /89) I had the loan of a mates X7, drop bars, expansion pipes and over bore. Knife edge powerband, noisy as hell and smoked like a trooper what a fun bike, I loved it. I was still happy to get the GPz back with it's 1170 kit, smooth bore carbs , it would launch the front wheel into the air just by rolling on the throttle in second gear in short the ideal bike for a 25 yr old to commute daily through central London. Unless is was summer and you got stuck in traffic due to the super tanker like turning circle, then it would fry it's oil and get all sulky.I haven't had the cash for a bike for... ~13 years now...
Last one I had was a Suzuki 250 X7...think half the town had owned it at one point or another....amount of guys who did a double take at it when it was sitting outside my work at the time was unreal..."my mate owned that back in 82", "my mate wheelied that into the back doors of the RBS around 86"....
I sold it to my dad when I went to NZ....he gave up on it as the crank seals went and sold it in bits to someone in Laurencekirk...
Mad piece of kit....gutless beyond ~80mph...but mad as mad could be below that...bit hairy on windy days though due to lack of mass...almost got blown into the front of a car on the double bends before the railway bridge heading north towards aberdeen on the A90...butthole tightening experience...just missed his nose and no more...despite leaning heavily into the wind to try and stop the slide...
if you are heading past my way you're more than welcome to come and have a goBrakes are a weak point on all the gixxers and a set of braided lines and ebc pads makes all the difference. What your saying is right about the power but that's what I like about them. Low down and midrange grunt from the off. The thing about the gsxr is any gear any rpm it will pull without hesitation. I like r1's when you get them wound up but yammy tend to leave out the midrange and give them a top end blast which is fine if you want to live at 9000rpm or above. I do like the classic 1st gens like the one in your avitar. Never rode one that old but they look the business.
