You aren't wrong...the boards inside were covered in grinding dust. I had to wash them down....luckily it was just the motor (I was worried the welder was toast)

Ive just had the same issue with the wire feed motor on my minarc evo 200. Bought as a retirement present to myself around 2014 but only used one roll of wire since, with a lot of that work being as an earlier poster mentioned plug welding on my old Land Rover. My local dealer where it was purchased from had no sympathy quoting £60 to open the case and tell me what was wrong. I purchased a long reach T15 driver and opened the case. The small motor and gearbox is removed with 3 x T15s from the side opening and once the two electrical terminals are pulled off (not the positive on), the motor and gearbox (yep £174 + vat) can be removed.
I switched the unit on whilst the electrical terminals were connected and could smell burning noting the commutator? was pitted and grooved. the motor is held to the gearbox with two further bolts so five in all up to this point. The motor is made in China by Mabuchi model number RS-755VC-4540. I believe this motor is obsolete and found a replacement in 755VC- 4539 best price for me was £10.88 from Ali Express with postage was around £21 took weeks to arrive but when it did tried it and it works OK (I've ordered two more as spares as this seems a weakness in the machine. The shaft is 15mm long and the worm drive that runs the gearbox is an interference fit, i held the old motor in the vice and using needle nosed pliers gripped the shaft above the worm and tapped the pliers with a small hammer driving the worm off the shaft, reversal was simply to press the worm onto the new shaft gently using the vice.
Feeling dis chuffed with he quality of the machine as its only just on its second roll of wire i sent a **** o gram to Kemppi UK pointing out the weakness, they didnt seem to bothered or helpful... it will be my last Kemppi machine

I'm still running on the original cleaned up motor...I'm also going to buy a few spares too. Well done on doing the swap...also useful to know how to get the worm gear off ...your post has helped someone already as I'll also need to do this too 
It's annoying to find such a cheap part in an expensive machine...they really take the biscuit with their "genuine" replacement I think.

presuming the motor gets warm rather than really hot whats to stop you sticking some fine foam (aireated) foam over those open vents on the motor, so it can breathe but dust is at least kept out .

you say you washed the boards , what did or issuitable to use ? I have only ever blow cleaned mine.

I used the 100% alcohol stuff from rs components...I think most boards get washed with something similar when they're manufactured?
After 10 years of use mine were very dirty indeed...figured might as well clean them up when it was all apart.
Would I have known that the little bugger will run out of steam after few rolls....
I knew that Russian video before purchase but considered it irrelevant, something which quite naturally comes with serious use and my usage is far from serious!
But few rolls and gone I didn't expect, shame on you Kemppi, I will keep it in mind forever!
As others I've grabbed few spares and am thankful for digger499 replacement guide.
