searched for an hour for the avr im starting to think ive binned it I have a couple of more places to look before I can say for sure its gone, if it has ill be annoyed now someone could have used it, but I did remove it maybe 5 or 6 years ago

Those Cheap Chinese Diesels just don't last, the big stresses compared to petrol engines just won't tolerate soft metal, and junk fasteners, the starter motors are especially crap on the ones I've had to bits. The only good thing about them is as I repair generators, I get given them for free, usually in bits.
