No, aint got one or want one, what i will say is my knipex grips are one of my fav go to tools in my chest

Yes, I have one, it's awesome, the 6" version, yes it's not a set of spanners , but between my leatherman and above mentioned tool, saved going to the van, to tighten an alternator belt, good kit, bought mine secondhand, £5 !

Interesting. Ive staved off buying one as I have far too many pliers as it is. Why do you not like them?

I have the small one ,,, after all the hype and Knipex name I thought Id give one a go ,,, its ok , takes too much fafing about with to be handy , most of the time Id rather use a shifter ,or waterpump pliers ,,, and they are pricey , lets just say I didnt ever buy the larger one and now the small one lives in my dive box as its handy for hose swaps ,,

they arent locking pliers either though ,, think more parallel jaw waterpump pliers ,,, and expensive ones at that

same idea as wp pliers , but they close rather than bite . if they were half the price Id have bought a bigger pair .

Poor size adjustment, bulky and the soft jaws only work on wide faces ... relates to no real advantage over grips or adjustables

Have the 6" and the bigger two.

Bigger ones are useful but clumsy though I like them when im stuck under something.

6" is a fantastic.

These look like a similar idea but different approach, less faff by the looks of it but at the expensive of a narrower range.

Also don't rely on your hands clamping force (albeit multiplied) to lock it up. I find that with those "bitey" style tools you need to hold them effin tight to stop them slipping but then you can't put as much force on undoing things. The wera looks like it solves that.

Damn, done a gaztube but that chap does speak his mind and gives a useful view of how it clamps.

Have a few sets, wouldn't be without them. Really good for plumbing.

Back in my aviation days I used to use the big ones to set small solid rivets

+1 from me.
I have the small 6" and they work really well as small increment parallel jaw pliers. Not a competent all rounder, but very good at a few light weight jobs.

The wera adjustable spanners are good too, but I've not yet found their purpose in life.
