I don't even know what a welding cap does.
Not just manual workers. When you look like me pal you take it where you can get it@eSCHEn - Pink hair, attraction to manual workers...I'm beginning to wonder about you....your last name ain't winton , norton or clarey is it?
I was told speedglass was the helmet to have but I sold mine as it did not suit me. I guess it's a personal thing and the shape of your head? I tried wearing a baseball cap but the lid just falls off....Looking a Pratt doesn't worry me while welding I do it most days
Comfort on the other hand is a priority if I'm gonna wear it for long periods.
Speedglas are good and probably the popular choice among many but there are lots about that are just as good and in some areas better. I have a 9002x and a new tech Xl. Both have pros and cons.I was told speedglass was the helmet to have but I sold mine as it did not suit me. I guess it's a personal thing and the shape of your head? They are big num things and I don't like outside controls. Is that the ESAB New Tech XL Richard? How do you find it?
I have the standard size New Tech (The one that adjusts from shade 6 -13) , I find it very good, perhaps sometimes wish I would have got one with a larger viewing area but I don't really do enough welding to justify splashing out more!
No worries whatsoever mateNot for me mate. I don't like the hard peaks. Give em to the others but thanks for the kind offer mate.
Nah mate, boss man says give them to the lads on hereCheers Tom - any really, the bike one is pretty neat I suppose but if anyone else wants that as a preference then no probs.
Shall I PM my address? (I would collect but I don't think Im passing any time soon...) I'll be happy to pay to cover the cost of posting plus whatever else if you like?
