I'm sûre someone said front left ???No I didn’t see it either. I thought you were correct
Haha. I was pulling your leg. I cant see enough of that wheel to say its not burst. Is it not from thé drivers pov ? I feel i could be very wrong...
Exactly all the tyres still look inflated, maybe the Facebook information was incorrect, however I do not believe it can be as everything posted on Facebook is 101% genuine and true.I can see what Woz is getting at, looking under the motor, what you can see of the front o/s wheel looks more round than flat,

Slightly crumpled. The n/s/f wing ( as in the only front wing that I can see) doesn’t look too good.

If the nearside blew, as soon as you touch the brakes, you are turning right . . . I would guess, even with ABS on a modern car. Similar happened to me a long time ago - takes some quick thinking to come off the brakes and use the handbrake and a lot of corrective lock to get it slowed straight-ish.Can't tell without looking at the incident, however, butI was very close behind an accident on M6 north recently.
The front tyre on a Merc SUV doing 60MPH on the nearside lane blew, the car swerved left, driver overcorrected, and went from inside lane to central barrier in less than a second, taking the front off another car along the way. Very lucky IMHO.
For context, at 60MPH, if something goes wrong, you'll make the 10M journey from left lane to the central barrier in ABOUT 0.4 seconds.
Just pleased nobody was hurt.
I have to load my trials car on backward, even though its front engine. Center of gravity is so far back (just in-front of the rear wheels) its the only way to tow it. But then my Caterham, front engined, and front biased, I simply cannot get it on far enough to get enough nose weight - which I discovered the first time I towed it as soon as I lifted off having achieved my usual trials car towing speed . . . mind you, having a top speed limited to 50mph meant I got the best ever mpg out of my Lancia integrale, towing or not!I've always loaded cars engine forward and strapped all four wheels down, if you only strap 2 opposite wheels they always start bouncing around across the axis of the 2 untied wheels
Sounds similar to an experience I had one rainy night on the M4 near Swindon. Think this lasted about 20secs. Felt like a lifetime. When I came to a standstill all the curtains were down and the dash warning said 'proceed with caution, reduced tyre pressure'Can't tell without looking at the incident, however, butI was very close behind an accident on M6 north recently.

Did you stop to assist ?Was driving to the ferry middle of the night, just trucking along in Lane 2, minding my own business. Would have been M25, possibly, was a while back.
This car toboggans past me in lane 3 on its roof, bounces off something in lane 1, then straight back across into the armco then spins back across into the French drain. I sort of adjusted my speed to time not hitting him / being hit but I’ll never forget seeing that.
Never did find anything about it.
Did I fk!!Did you stop to assist ?
I had this a few weeks ago, moving two MF35 tractors and various implements.Only ever had one fishtailing incident and that was caused by underinflated tyres on the twin-axle plant trailer. I got into a weave after crowning a hill on the A2 and found that I could not slow down without it getting worse. It was the longest down-hill of my life, keeping the tiniest bit of power on to stop it increasing the weave until the slope flattened out. This must have been in the mid-90's and I've never hooked up a trailer since without checking all of the tyres first.
