FWIW, cameras introduce distortion so for a simple part like that, drop it onto a scanner next time...
Another good option is to use 5mm squared paper as a background to any photos you take*. Even better if you line up one or more part edges with a feint line on the paper. Then, even if the photo does end up horribly distorted, you have some chance of straigthening it out knowing the lines on the paper are regularly spaced. It's like turning on the grid in the Fusion shots above.
*Cheap cutting mats have a 10mm grid on them that can also be used.
