Bench is done but needs an upper shelf, which I will bolt on from 20mm tube, and a lot more space to put things. Chip tray is noisy needs some support/rubber damping. MiG is going to live there, spool gun reaches a decent amount of garden so I shouldn't need to move it..
I got chips everywhere... 18mm endmill eats alu bar like butter, and spits it all over the floor
Cut was 5mm deep, 10mm wide and feeding quite fast. Also made a drawbar for the collet holder.

Do you use coolant........if you do move the mig.
Now drawers for tools etc......look at ikea or narrow bisley filling cabinets

I use one of these under the end of my mill table, has a cheap tray stuck on top for tools while im working just pull it out. Its full of drills cutter tips boring head etc.

That's lush, if it's metal and it looks like it from the instructions then I may even buy one.
leveling feet:

personally I'd cut the side bar out and move it up a bit to allow access to the mig easier.
Cross piece on the front and back to mount draws and the back one to put a light on, also to stop the trays vibrating.

So you use suds, itll not stop it getting down to the mig. And electronics and soluble oil wont be a good mix!

Would rather spend money on tools but cabinet looks ok. Ive got feet just need to weld it up,: bit of tube, M20 nut, large washer, 40mm nylon round bar. With the feet, it will be high enough to get mig out, wont be often! Im not using suds. Chuck guard is annoying but useful, it hits the tool post and reminds me to check

ive been digging into what i have in metal for the lathe table this is what i have
these are about 2mm thick sizes range from 2x1" and 3x1", 2 3/4" x 1 1/4" the back 2 are 1 1/4" i have one more long piece which is 6" x 1 1/4" the metal comes off office furniture
that is heavy metal
i also have 2" angle iron but not much of it from the old lathe table and plenty of 1 angle iron as well and 6ft of 1 1/2 square tube cant remember thickness of it
just strugerling to get the halfords tool chest included in the build as i hate the tool chest would love to drop kick it out the door one day

I keep the chuck guard on my lathe for one reason - I slide it over and rest it on the interlock if there is anyone with kids visiting. That way it's impossible for the lathe to be started by inquisitive fingers. Not that they dare to go in my workshop anyway but you can't be too careful.
