Return to zero test:

This test lies a bit, I get some flex in the lead screw mount (I think), so sometimes it's up to 0.10mm short on the return.
I've ordered a raspberry pi touch screen, and will write some software to control the Arduino from the raspberry pi instead of having actual buttons controlled by the Arduino.
