That will be an interesting project to see.

Lets face it I've never finished the leccy wacker plate even! Looking at it in the shed the other day. Really no excuse now as I've got the Parweld (XTS162)... The only use it's seen is welding the little tip thing on the end of one of this mower's blades!

I wondered! Seems like they were originally bolted on, with two bolts but have since been welded on.

I should add if anyone wants the instruction manual and spares list for the T1200 just shout as I have them here as PDFs

By the way, if you fit an exhaust deflector, don't point it forward, the plastic grille doesn't like it

If you cut with that blade all the time with the welded-on 'tip', you'll end up with no grass.

The welded on tip points upward. BIL reckons it creates "lift" to suck the grass up.

I just missed out on an engineless T1200 that had been GARAGED and looked mint that was up for £30. Worth it for the cutter deck alone.

I see there's a rear grass box complete for £50.

I bought our T1200 from a guy that refurbs them, he has a contact that supplies replacement cutter decks made of much thicker material so hopefully it will last many years.
