It’s a bad design, why would you want the gas bottle next to the edge of the table, stops anything overhanging that side and stops you from working round all of the table. Ok if you are tigging small parts I guess.

Yup, the details are bad.
Too much fancy cutting, exposed welds that need ground flush as well.

It's actually dangerous with the bottle there.
Suppose the ground clamp fell off the part, and your part is up against the bottle.
Strike an arc, and it finds the ground thru the bottle.

Those are weld arm booms.The best welder cart contraption I have seen was on here somewhere. Welder was on a high level wall mounted swing out gantry, wasnt anywhere in the workshop it couldn't reach. Gas bottle can stay outside.

Yes, just the wire feeder on the boom end, power supply is at the post.
Roll of wire feeds up an insulated tube, from the post, it's too heavy to sit on the boom end with the feeder.

My neighbour has mad lovely ones with spring counter balance for the welders and plasma.
