So any water reaching the "bottom edge" won't actually drip into the gutter, it will go round and back under the sheet.
It will then continue "down" and drip off at the lowest point, in line with the window, probably? That's where its pooling deepest.
Nothing much will help with the drip edge issue unless you either straighten the beams or increase the pitch.
