This is the thing, the fittings were a well known make and were not cheap, over £120 each, 200watt LED. Replaced metal halide fittings that were about £85 each to buy, yes the MH are a lot less efficient than led and the output does drop as the lamps age. Before the phase out of the lamps the cost was about £35 if it failed.
The LED fittings have already started to fail after 1 year of service and no replacement parts or lamp so the whole fitting is scrap!
If they were out of warranty that would have cost another fitting, machine, and my time, over double the cost of a MH fitting and after 1 year not 10.
