Just to bump this back up.

Lidl as of this morning had the 12v range in.
Hedge cutters, drill screwdriver. Spare battery and the the mini grinders.

I managed to get one of the little grinders and got me out of trouble getting a bolt out this afternoon already.

Sounds like they wont get the (ab)use I give them. My Rothenbergers got nicked so I bought cheap, 3 weeks later they got launched in a skip and I had 2 massive blood blisters on my hand

Rothenberg get my vote, had a pair for a few years and they are fab

I bought this about 2 years ago for my garage. Still going strong. Only beef is getting a hold of 180mm disks cos its not something B&Q, screwfix, toolstation etc stock but there are plenty of places online you can order them from.

Just a heads up - cordless tools are in Lidl including cordless grinders @ £30 for the bare unit, batteries & chargers extra.

Unfortunately we in NI are not getting the 4ah batteries, only the 2ah.

Good job I bought a load of the 2ah batteries when they were on offer!
