If it ain’t right, put it right!
Made 2 x inserts at 38mm, bored out to 38mm, put a thin line of high strength loctite 638 bearing retainer around the circumference and pressed them in before parting and facing off one end. I need to bore it out to 35mm again now for the bearings.

I just wanted to share a video with you that I saw some time ago- really neat way to make the drive wheels for a belt sander.
Maybe this will be useful to someone.
I have made 3 linishers to date. One being a replacement for the first one, and at that time I had 2 workshops, 50km apart. I use an uncrowded rubber front contact roller, so you can grind on the wheel. You can get the grooved contact wheels as spare parts, or from Aliexpress.
The linisher is such a handy machine for deburring cut steel etc
I am a long time fan of Tim at Big Dog Forge. One thing you will note after watching a few of his videos, you can't judge a book by it's cover. This is one very clever chap.
