Little CNC job for someone

If no one else can help, I can do it from a DXF - I'm getting some wiring done in workshop at moment so plasma out of action for a few days but if it can wait till later in week then I'll do it. I'll look what steel i've got. 2mm S/S for sure, not sure about mild I'll have to check but if not i can get some from work Monday

Personally, you shouldn't have to explain your own personal circumstances; you asked if people can do something for you, they have two choices. I hope someone can produce this for you, sadly I wouldn't know where to start.

To be honest guys so am I.

I disagree with a few members politics as like me they have a view. But thankfully the usual rules prevent us going down that route......so I try my hardest to keep to the spirit of the rules.

But hey it's easy to get the vibes wrong from text only.
Surely as we are fully aware some of us in these forums will not be here in a years time we can just walk away from personal confrontation?

I’m not a cool maker, I’m blue collar scum, but have an idea regarding metalwork.

The most efficient way to cut the part , but still exceeding required tolerance is laser.
Sticking a piece of sheet to a plattern and milling it would be my very last choice unless dealing in a material that is unavailable /uneconomic in full sheet size and won’t be stock for the laser cutters ie titanium etc etc
Wire edm is excellent, very accurate but slow and expensive .
You was offered free help to get it laser cut but you ignored his post

im not a free sketchup fan as its hasnt got any decent export ability once you've learnt to use fusion no reason to use anything else, i do use turbocad for architect drawings

Wait what? I don’t know where the “maker” comment comes from, it is a constant battle to survive I am engaged in. Mostly restoring broken machinery and I don’t skip dip for fun though I do get some satisfaction from preventing such a hideous waste of resources.

No idea where the efficiency or tolerance comments are coming from either, I am merely asking if anyone on this forum could cut out the part shown by whatever means as a paying job. I specifically stated thickness has a very wide tolerance in case someone could squeeze it in alongside an existing job.

Why anyone would consider milling out a part from sheet steel is beyond me and why would you suggest wire EDM?

I didn’t read his post properly, I thought he was offering to wire (edm) it out
Efficiency and tolerance is everything, it means the quality and pricing will be correct and no rework required
Why did I mention milling?
Because you said can anyone cnc it out but discounted laser and plasma is dog poo in comparison
