Looks great! What type of oil/staining have you used on the wood? I like that some bits are so much darker than others. How long until we get to see the finished article??

Thanks. Cabots deck oil, shoe polish and beeswax
It's mostly done. Just got the 2 fins, put it all together and wire up.

Just body filler, not sure if we have a slang term like the American bondo which I know about thanks to all the tv programs we get

Yeah, A ad came on the tele last night.
Black Friday sales, We have suffered Halloween over the last 10 years getting bigger.
Now talk of banning fireworks on Guy Fawkes day.
We are being americanised and british heritage is slowly dwindling.
What is next Thanks giving day?

Definitely. We have bonfires and big fireworks displays.

When I was a kid we use to make a dummy, dress up in clothes.
Wheel him around the streets at night in the wheelbarrow - then to the bonfire.
The council stopped the bonfires I suppose they got out of hand some years.
They were held in the local reserves it was a real neighbourhood thing.
